  • Do you make custom boards?
    Yes, custom boards are our specialty! Our Murerase® custom printed boards available in any size, can be magnetic or non-magnetic, framed or un-framed. The workhorse of our manufacturing process is our large format heat press which can accommodate art work up to 48” x 96”. Let us know what you need, and we’ll work with you to produce it.   • Are there standard sizes for your printed markerboards?
    The common sizes are 18”W x 24”H, 24”W x 36”H. Any board up to 48”W x 96”H can be created with one printed panel. Boards larger than 48”W x 96”H can be printed in sections. The weight of our magnetic boards is approximately 3.5 lbs. per square foot. The weight of our non-magnetic boards is approximately 1 lb. per square foot.
  • How can we hang our boards?
    We include hanging kits with all our boards. These hanging kits are included in the price of the board. Detailed hanging instructions can be found here.
  • Do you make the boards yourself, or do you purchase them from someone else?
    We manufacture our boards in our shop located outside of Philadelphia. We oversee the entire process from design, to printing, to framing and packaging. Our skilled team is experienced in all phases of production.
  • How should we clean our boards?
    Proper cleaning and maintenance will allow you to get the most out of your markerboard. Only use dry erase marker pens and do not use permanent markers on the board. When cleaning, it is important not to use any abrasive cleaners of disinfectant, other than alcohol on the boards. Complete cleaning instructions can be found here.
  • What are your Art Specifications?
    We work with Adobe Illustrator which produces vector files. We prefer to receive logos and art in either AI, EPS or PDF files. We can work with photographs however; the quality of the final image depends on the resolution provided. Please click here to learn more about our Art Specifications. If you have a print ready image the print set up fee is $25. The charge for graphic design is $65.00 per image. Please note that maps and construction plans may take longer due to the size of the files and could have additional cost. Send art files via our email address at sales@ddscustom.com. Another great way to send files is though  www.wetransfer.com. They can transfer files up to 2 GB. Send to the email address (art@ddscustom.com). Be sure to include info to identify the job.

  • Do you accept credit card payments?
    Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard & American Express. Credit card payment is standard for orders under $3,000 and acceptable for order up to $4,000. For orders greater than $4,000 payment terms are 15 days net. Credit cards will be charged when orders are shipped.
  • Do you charge sales tax?
    For orders delivered in Pennsylvania, there is an additional 6% sales tax charged on all items, other than shipping, unless a tax-exempt number is provided.
  • Do you offer volume pricing?
    Yes, we are happy to offer volume pricing for large orders. Please call us at 800-620-3073 to discuss available discounts.
  • Are deliveries made to a loading dock?
    Yes, large boards or orders with multiple boards are shipped by LTL freight and a loading dock is preferred
  • Can you deliver to an address without a loading dock?
    Small boards can often be received without a loading dock.
    For larger orders, we can deliver to business and residences that do not have a loading dock. However, special arrangements must be made prior to shipping and additional costs may be incurred. It is important that you inform us of this at the time of your order so that we can provide you with a good estimate of the additional costs and make the proper arrangements with the shipping company.
  • What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged?
    If there is visible damage to your package when it arrives, do not sign the bill of lading. Make a note of the damage on the bill of lading and, if possible, take pictures of the package prior to opening. Please contact us immediately at 800-620-3073, so that we may remediate.
  • What does Murerase® mean?
    Murerase® is the marriage of a mural and a dry erase marker board
